Jeff Roma is a Chester County, Pennsylvania-based commercial real estate investor with a focus on self storage, developer, and high-performance entrepreneur who believes the same principles that build elite athletes build elite investors — discipline, recovery, consistency, and an obsession with marginal gains.
Raised in Broome County, New York, Jeff's foundation was forged early. As a collegiate baseball player at Temple University, he learned that winning is a byproduct of process — preparation, repetition, and showing up when it isn't glamorous. He graduated in 2003 and has carried that competitive framework into every business venture and health practice since.
Jeff's professional career began in health and performance — training athletes and executives as a personal trainer — before a 16-year tenure in healthcare sales with Quest Diagnostics, where he rose from sales executive to entrepreneur. Five years ago, he co-founded, scaled, and successfully exited a molecular diagnostics laboratory — and rather than slow down, he went back to the drawing board. He is currently in the final stages of launching US-Biosciences, a state-of-the-art molecular diagnostics lab opening in Scranton, Pennsylvania, bringing long-read sequencing technology to healthcare providers across the region and beyond. That career arc — from the exam room to the boardroom to the lab — gave him both the scientific literacy and operational discipline that define his approach to business and biohacking alike.
Today, Jeff is founder and owner of CAE Real Estate Investments, a commercial real estate investing firm specializing in self-storage development, conversions, acquisitions, and expansions across the Eastern United States. CAE REI raises LP capital through structured syndications, offering investors preferred returns backed by hard assets in recession-resilient markets as well as joint ventures. Jeff has developed and owns a 46,000-square-foot self-storage facility in Pennsylvania and is actively completing his second project — a 61,000-square-foot conversion — with additional pipeline in development. CAE REI also participates in multifamily syndications and single-family acquisitions throughout the Pennsylvania market.
